English: The World's Second Most Spoken Language

After Chinese, English is the second most spoken language globally. It is estimated that over 520 million people speak English worldwide. More than 65% of all internet content is in English. The importance of English today is beyond dispute. Its dominance can largely be attributed to the expansion policies of Britain, its emergence as a powerful nation after the Industrial Revolution, and the political, economic, and scientific dominance established by the United States after World War II.

As a result, English has become the global common language in fields such as science, technology, art, industry, and tourism. Mastering English is crucial for staying updated with developments in your areas of interest, advancing personally, and gaining a competitive edge in your professional life.

At American Time Language Schools, we implement a globally recognized 6-level system for General English (Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced).

Each level provides 128 hours of instruction, excluding activity classes. You can choose the schedule that best suits you from the table below.

Program Duration and Intensity

As you can see from the table, the duration of each level ranges from 8 to 16 weeks. Regardless of the program you choose, you will receive 128 hours of instruction per level. The difference in program duration arises from the variation in weekly class hours, in other words, the intensity of the program.
